National bank, Bank of Maldives (BML) has expanded self-service banking ATM services to all residential islands in Laamu Atoll with the establishment of a self-service banking ATM centre in Kalaidhoo.
The inauguration ceremony of the ATM centre was graced by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and was also attended by senior officials from BML, including Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb, CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef.

Shareef said with the launch of ATM services in all residential islands of Laamu Atoll, the bank now provides ATM services to all residential islands of 19 atolls under its ‘Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM’ initiative.
“ATMs play a crucial role in bringing customers into the formal banking system and as we expand our physical network, we remain committed to enhancing our digital banking services,” he added.
