Parliament has approved the appointment of three non-resident ambassadors to represent the Maldives in South Africa, the Czech Republic, Mauritania and Kenya.
The appointments were approved unanimously, with the support of all 64 members who participated in the vote.
Hala Hameed of Henveyru Meenaz has been approved for appointment as the Maldives’ non-resident Ambassador to South Africa.
Aminath Abdulla Didi of Gulzaar, Thinadhoo, Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, has been approved for appointment as the Maldives’ non-resident Ambassador to the Czech Republic.
Meanwhile, Ameen Javid Faisal of Henvery Athireege has been approved for appointment as the Maldives’ non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Mauritania and Kenya.
