As part of the bank’s efforts to improve the service standard, the Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced positive changes made to their international transfer (TT) via internet banking.
The changes include the feature of attaching multiple supporting documents, purchase requests of US Dollars required to make TT payments.
In addition to this, the changes brought by BML also confirm that TT charges will be determined by selecting accounts and the TT process receives confirmation in a newer format.
The bank has decided against accepting international transfer services via email, which will become effective from 01 April 2022. Meanwhile, BML encourages customers to access international transfer services through their internet banking platform.
