Relationship with Maldives will strengthen – China

Chinese state confirms that the bilateral relationship between Asia’s industrialist-based nation and Maldives will continue to strengthen further in future.
Chinese President Xi Jinping sent his greetings to his Maldivian counterpart Yameen Abdul Gayoom over the auspicious occasion of 50th Independence anniversary of Maldives، as Mr Jinping added that he expects the relationship will grow stronger in future.
In his message، Xi Jinping had also assured that the Chinese state will be giving high priority in strengthening the bond between Maldives.
Xi Jinping had also added of Maldivian government’s support towards China’s Maritime Silk Road project – which will see to the economic and infrastructure development of Maldives while establishing trade deals with China – stating the agreement which was signed back in September last year، is strong proof of the bilateral relationship between the two nations، and its growing strength.
Delegations of foreign dignitaries have arrived Maldives in order to take part in the activities of “Minivan 50” which commemorates 50 years of independence at Maldives as a sovereign state.
Mr. Shen Yui-Ye، Vice Chairman of Standing Committee، Chinese Parliament has arrived on behalf of the nation to participate in the Minivan 50 celebrations.
