Ibrahim Nasir International Airport, Maldives–MACL inaugurated Free Wi-Fi at Domestic Terminal, Maamehi Lounge and international Terminalon 9th October 2016 at 1000 hrs.
The inauguration ceremony was held in the Domestic Terminal area of INIA. MACL’s Managing Director Mr. Adil Moosa and Executive Director, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director Mr. Ismail Rasheedopened the ceremony and theywere accompanied by the management Department of MACL.
These complimentary Wi-Fi services will be available for passengers with Dhiraagu, Ooredoo international roaming Sim cards. This 3G internet service will last for 2 hours in Maamehi Executive Lounge and 30 minutes in rest of the places.
MACL is providing this high speed Wi-Fi access at both the terminals through Dhiraagu for the first time. Presently through Ooredoo Wi-Fi is accessible in International Terminal only. The service has widened after today’s launch and is available for the passengers at the Domestic and International terminals of INIA and Maamehi executive lounge as well.
