Former President Mohamed Nasheed has challenged the Government.
In a tweet posted, the former President said that there was no way the Government could force former Foreign Minister Kerafa Ahmed Naseem to return back to the Maldives. He said Naseem will return back to the Maldives only when the opposition wanted him to return back.
Nasheed has been in a self-imposed exile, after being granted medical leave to go the UK. After he was granted asylum status from the UK, he has formed an opposition movement in the guise to bring the Government to an interim status.
Political pundits have speculated that the opposition lacked monument, especially given the successes President Yameen had brought in.
