Shaykh Faid Mohammed Said, an internationally renowned scholar based at Harrow Mosque, London will be visiting Maldives to give the May month’s lecture in the “The Message” lecture series organized by Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
Sheikh Faid will be giving the lecture on May 15th on the topic “Knowledge is transformation not information.”
The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed said that Mufti Menk will be coming to Maldives on June 11th.
Mufti Menk said on twitter “Don't bear grudges. Don't let your heart be troubled by anything that makes it lose its peace. Stay calm & let go of what you can't change.”
It is possible that he might have got information regarding the current situation in Maldives.
“If you want to win others over, best way is to avoid arguments for arguments weaken trust. Always use kind words & speak in a gracious way,” he also said.
He also said: “Life is full of ironies. The people who hurt you, hate you, despise you, look for faults in you now, are the ones who may need you later on”
Many are saying that the government oppression and tyranny is increasing while the Islamic Ministry is bringing celebrity scholars to give lectures to the local people.
