Civil Aviation has planned to schedule charter flights to Addu International Airport.
The charter flights are Airbus A320 of Danish Air-transport. Sources say that there will be 18 flights from December 20 to April 2017.
Civil Aviation says that once the airport is fully developed Boeing 777 will be able to land at the airport. The airport is to receive a certificate this year. Chartered flights to Gan will boost tourism in the city according to experts in the industry.
