President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has declared Sunday, 24 May and Monday, 25 May 2026 as official Government holidays.
The decision aims to facilitate an extended holiday period for the upcoming Eid al-Adha, allowing Government employees an uninterrupted break to spend quality time with their families.
Following the Eid holidays, Government offices will reopen on Sunday, 31 May, in accordance with the official calendar.
