Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) in collaboration with the Bank of Maldives (BML) has donated aid packages to 100 families during this holy month of Ramadan.
ARC is an organisation that aims to protect and promote the rights and wellbeing of children in the Maldives.
ARC has consistently provided support for vulnerable families. This year mark’s the fifth consecutive year that the organisation has provided support during Ramadan. In this regard, ARC has provided food packages to 100 families, reaching 200 children. The aid package aims to ensure the families have adequate food supplies during Ramadan. The package includes essential food items such as rice, flour, lentils, powdered milk, canned vegetables and other general food items.
Beneficiaries of this initiative include low-income families, single parents and families that include children with disabilities.
