Tourism Minister Moosa Zameer have said that major airlines of Europe are interested in operating directly to Gan airport.
Moosa Zameer said that the main challenge for international airlines to operate to Gan is that the tourism sector has not developed that much in Addu city. The minister said that soon a project to develop 3000 tourist beds in Addu city will be started and finished within a year.
The minister said that a tourist hotel will also be developed in Addu and that project will also be conducted very soon.
