MDP has won all the 7 seats of Addu City council in the local council elections held today.
Hithadhoo north constituency was won by the incumbent Mayor of Addu City, Abdullah Sodiq. Speaking to Miadhu News, he said that this shows the support for the opposition coalition in the public.
He said that such a huge win was ensured because all opposition coalition parties worked together. MDP members of Addu City have started celebrations after winning the 7 seats in Addu.
The government worked hard to win the seats in Addu City. Many new projects were inaugurated and an investment forum was held as well.
