As part of Bank of Maldives’ commitment to the local community, the Bank has signed a 3-year agreement with the Swimming Association of Maldives to become its Exclusive Nationwide Partner.
As part of this unique agreement, Bank of Maldives will support the development of swimming right across the country, with a particular focus on the benefits of swimming to the lives of communities as an active lifestyle sport.
Speaking at the signing ceremony held at the Bank’s headquarters today, BML CEO and Managing Director Andrew Healy said “Swimming is more than a great competitive sport. It is an essential life skill, especially in Maldiveswhere we are surrounded by the sea. We are truly delighted to partner with the wonderful organization that is Swimming Association of Maldives to help develop this importantskillthroughout the country. In doing so, I am sure we will also help to nurture future talents who will go on to swim in local and international competitions.”
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Swimming Association Vice President Ismail Ali said “We are really pleased to partner with Bank of Maldives. Having the Nation’s Bank as our Exclusive Nationwide Partner is tremendously encouraging and opens up opportunities to further develop the sport and lifestyle of swimming. I am confident this partnership will be very successful.”
