BCC to host this year’s national productivity exhibition in October

The Business Center Corporation (BCC) is set to host this year’s national productivity exhibition in October, designed to be the most expansive platform for Maldivian artistic talent and entrepreneurial innovation.
Positioned as a premier national platform, the event to be held from 23 to 31 October, will bring together artisans, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), digital creators, and technological innovators from every corner of the Maldives to display their products, services, and creative ingenuity.
In line with President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s declaration of 2026 as the “Year of Productivity,” the exhibition is poised to play a pivotal role in advancing national economic growth and fostering a culture of innovation.
The BCC emphasised that the event aims to expand access to digital resources across the archipelago and equip local manufacturers with the tools and visibility needed to compete on international markets.
Highlighting its growing prominence, last year’s exhibition drew a record-breaking number of visitors, signaling strong public and commercial interest.
The BCC announced that applications for participation in this year’s landmark event will officially open next month, inviting Maldivian creators and entrepreneurs to be part of a transformative movement toward a more productive and globally competitive nation.
