AP adviced President to not oppress Colonel Nazim- Sheikh Mohamed Didi

Former State Minister at the Islamic Ministry, Sheikh Mohamed Didi has said that the Adhaalath Party adviced the President not to oppress former Defence Minister Colonel Nazim and informed him that he was framed.
Sheikh Mohamed Didi made this this remark speaking at last night’s rally of the “Maldivians against tyranny” movement. He said that Adhaalath Party does not believe that Colonel Nazim is guilty of the criminal charges that he is accused with.
“We always believed that he was framed. I participated in the meeting with the President. Adhaalath Party told the President that Nazim is framed and not to oppress him,” he said.
In addition to this, Sheikh Mohamed Didi said that the whole Maldives is suffering from the oppression of the government on Jumhooree Party leader, Gasim Ibrahim.
“Many people are suffering from these oppressions. Many people are crying, including children and aged. They cannot tolerate the oppression against Gasim. The only ones who are not saddened by it are President Yameen and Adheeb,” he said.
Sheikh Mohamed Didi said that the President during the meeting with Adhaalath compared Adheeb with Khalid bin Waleed.
He said that Adheeb has no qualities of Khalid bin Waleed but is a man drenched in corruption.
