Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened its first Business Center in Addu City on the 12th of February, 2019.
This is a first in the series of business centers to be opened throughout the country. The purpose of the centers are to act as part of the Bank’s investment to support small and medium businesses.
These centers would provide dedicated Relationship Managers at the Business Center, who will provide support for SMEs on a range of business banking requirements; from loan advisory services, identifying financial requirements and convenient application processes.
Similar Business Centers are to be opened in Male’, Hulhumale’ and Kulhudhufushi in the near future.
Deputy Chief Executive Office, Aishath Noordeen stated that Addu is a key economic hub in this country, adding that they were delighted to support the business community in the city. She also stated that a team of experts would be there to provide the best suited financial solutions to all customers.
In addition to the Business Center, a Currency Exchange Counter was also opened at the Gan International Airport. This is to cater for foreign exchange services for incoming tourists.
