Public Service Media (PSM) and My Q Study Expo Pvt Ltd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide technical training and information sharing in various fields.
The MoU was signed by the Managing Director of PSM Ahmed Shakeeb, and Veejayasegaran Arumugom, CEO of My Q Study Expo.
Speaking at the ceremony, Shakeeb said My Q Study Expo is a reliable organisation in the Maldives that works extensively in sending students abroad for higher studies and providing opportunities at universities. He emphasised the importance of providing training in various fields to enhance the skills and technical capacity of PSM employees, adding that the two sides also discussed improving capacity not only in technical departments but across other areas as well.
The training programmes will be conducted through the Maldives Media Institute and will be free of charge.
According to Veejayasegaran, the first training programme under the MoU will begin in July. The trainings will focus on broadcasting, journalism, communication skills, team building, and public speaking.
