Indonesia has been revoked off from the list of World Cup teams for the 2018 scheduled tournament while they had been taken off from Asian Cup qualifying at UAE in 2019 since FIFA had suspended Indonesia’s football association.
FIFA had suspended Indonesia’s football association on 30th May، stating that their government was influencing on the selection of teams for Indonesian Super League.
According to a statement released by FAC، with FIFA-ordered suspension on Indonesia’s football association، the country had been eliminated from FIFA World Cup 2018 qualifier matches as well as the Asian Cup qualifying.
FIFA had also barred Indonesian teams from participating in the AFC-led tournaments as well.
In addition to this Indonesia can no longer take part in both FIFA and AFC backed football coaching camps، training programs or any such programs unless the suspension order by FIFA on Indonesia has been revoked.
