Froriegn Minister Dr. Muhammad Asim has arrived in China yesterday on a bilateral official visit.
Minister Asim was received at the Beijing Capital International Airport, by Dr. Muhammad Faisal, Ambassador of Maldives to China and Senior Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.
Foreign Minister Asim is scheduled call on the Vice President of China and to meet with the Foreign Minister of China and discuss strengthening relations between the two countries. Minister Asim will also be meeting the President of AIIB and the President of China EXIM Bank during the visit.
Foreign Minister Asim is accompanied by. Mr. Ahmed Khaleel, Secretary, Bilateral and Mr. Hussain Shareef, Desk Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
