Foreign Minister Dr Abdulla Khaleel has met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud, in Riyadh yesterday.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, both Ministers reaffirmed the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and emphasized on the importance of continued collaboration.

The ministry said that Minister Khaleel expressed appreciation for the longstanding friendship and cooperation with Saudi Arabia, highlighting shared Islamic values and common interests that form the foundation of the partnership.
The minister further expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia for its continued support and assistance throughout the development journey of Maldives.
Both Ministers also agreed to explore further opportunities for cooperation bilaterally and continue to work closely in multilateral forums.
