First Lady inaugurates Maldives Health Expo 2025

First Lady Sajidha Mohamed has inaugurated the Maldives Health Expo 2025. The inauguration ceremony was held at Hulhumalé Central Park this afternoon.
The Health Expo is part of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s initiatives to promote a healthy generation. Organised by the Ministry of Health, the event provides a platform to inform the public about Government efforts in this regard and to raise awareness on healthy lifestyle practices among citizens.
Following the official inauguration, the First Lady visited the exhibition stalls, where she was briefed on the information specific to each.
This year’s expo features participation from over 50 relevant organisations, with the aim of providing comprehensive and accurate information on healthcare, including guidance on how to interpret and act upon such information, as well as preventive measures. Hospitals from the Greater Malé Region, as well as from across the country, participated in this year’s expo.
Open to the general public, this expo seeks to promote awareness of the importance of cultivating a healthier generation, while actively encouraging public engagement in this initiative. Held under the theme “Together Towards a Healthy Generation,” the expo will take place on 13, 15, and 16 November.
