Medianet has announced that FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 would be broadcasted on Raajje TV and ICE Plus.
According to Medianet, Ooredoo Maldives has signed up to serve as the coverage title partner of Medianet’s coverage of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The contract was signed on Ooredoo’s behalf by CEO and MD Khalid Al-Hamadi and CCO Hussain Niyaz and CEO and MD Ahmed Shafeeu and CCO Ahmed Nabah signed the agreement on behalf of Medianet at a ceremony held at Solite Restaurant this evening. Moreover, a partnership agreement with Ooredoo was signed by Raajje TV and ICE Plus also at the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony Khalid Al-Hamadi stated that the Maldivians have always had a special place in their hearts for football. The Ooredoo group is also closely associated with football. Ooredoo’s goal for the World Cup this year is to give the spectators a big and thrilling experience. Further he noted that Ooredoo is delighted to collaborate with Medianet to provide the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 to our clients, who are dispersed around the country.
In addition, speaking at the ceremony Ahmed Nabah, COO of Medianet, stated that they are honored to enable exclusivity to local Channels for the first time in history. Raajje TV and ICE Plus will broadcast the FIFA World Cup 2022. Also he noted that they are thrilled to collaborate with Ooredoo and benefit from their support for this important event.
The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is set to begin on November 20, 2022, and will include thrilling matches. In order to get the fans ready for this Football Fiesta, Medianet have arranged a number of events, Fanzones, and Road Shows.
