Islamic Minister Dr.Ahmed Ziyad Baqir have asked religious scholars to increase their roles in reforming the society.
Dr.Ziyad made this request while speaking at the opening ceremony of the 4th convention of the religious scholars. He said that the religious scholars have an important role in reforming the society and they always played a vital role in reforming the society.
He also said that it was the religious scholars who took the initiative of building the first Islamic state and today’s religious scholars should also be like the scholars of the past.
