BML breaks ground for branch in Hinnavaru

The Bank of Maldives (BML) has officially laid the foundation stone for a new branch in Hinnavaru, Lhaviyani atoll.
The ceremony, held on Monday, was attended by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, members of his cabinet, BML Chairman Ahmed Ali Habeeb, CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, and senior bank officials.
According to BML, the new branch will further strengthen banking access in the atoll, which is currently served by a branch in Naifaru and self-service ATMs in all inhabited islands.
