Interpol has issued a Red notice to find Mohamed Humaid who is suspected to be involved in the murder of Jailam Ahmed Shakir last February.
Humaid fled to Sri Lanka when the Police started looking for him.
According to the Interpol website, the 19-year-old is wanted for Gang murder and Gang assault using a sharp object.
The website also says that he is wanted by the Prosecutor General’s Office in Maldives pending charges.
So far, Isamil Aneeg, Naseeb Saeed and Jamna Ali has been charged in the murder of Jailam.
