Kendhoo MP Ali Hussain has been summoned by the police.
The parliamentarian from opposition Jumhoory Party was arrested during the rally held on Friday. He was taken to the Police Headquarters and given the notice before his release.
The reason for summoning him is yet unknown.
Galolhu South MP Ahmed Mahloof was also summed by the police for allegedly obstructing the duties of law enforcing officers. In addition, several members of the opposition were arrested from the protests held during this past weekend.
