Minister of Economic Development, Hon. Mohamed Saeed has this evening departed to Sri Lanka, as Special Envoy of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
According to the President’s Office, The main purpose of Minister Saeed’s visit to Sri lanka is to provide aid to those affected by flooding and landslides, following torrential rains.
Sri lanka has called assistance from well wishers due to recent floods in the country which has lead more than 400,000 homeles and more than 60 deaths.
