PPM President Maumoon Abdul Qayyoom has stated that he will seek to resolve the issues in PPM through discussions.
He made the statement in a press conference held regarding the aborted Council meeting of the Party last night.
In the press conference President Maumoon stressed that the reform agenda was formed to resolve core issues within the Party and that he had no ulterior motives.
The members who had voiced their displeasure over Maumoon’s decision also said they will prioritize on discussions to resolve the issue.
Some members who opposed President Yameen had called for his resignation last night openly.
The members who had walked out of Council session had not expressed their feelings in a vulgar manner. They had exited the session after seeking permission.
