Ministry of Fisheries and Agriculture is granting loans to breed sea cumbers in three islands. The loans are being granted under a project conducted by Fisheries Ministry and International Fund for Agriculture.
The breeding programs should be carried out in Laamu Isdhoo، Dhanbidhoo and and Kalaidhoo. An announcement by the Ministry says that، interested parties can apply for the loan till 17th of this month. Ministry said that 100 people will be given loans under this project. However at first only 10 loans will be given.
Ministry will provide the materials and small sea cucumber needed for the project rather than giving cash. However the loan should be returned as cash. Loan application forms should be submitted to councils of Isdhoo، Dhanbidhoo and Kalaidhoo
