Aqua Cube Pvt Ltd, a leading beach sports equipment retailer in the Maldives, has announced its sponsorship of an athlete participating in the Windsurfing World Cup.
Aqua Cube, which already sponsors three of the Maldives’ top athletes in water sports, is sponsoring Japan's young windsurfing champion, 15-year-old Ryoma Sugi. Aqua Cube is sponsoring Ryoma’s Duotone windsurfing board, and Aqua Cube’s logo will be displayed on his sails and equipment throughout the competition.
Ryoma's notable achievements include:

Ryoma has also won prizes in various windsurfing competitions in Japan.
While a local athlete has not qualified for this year’s Windsurfing World Cup, Aqua Cube is sponsoring a Japanese athlete to promote the Maldives’ tourism and as an ideal location for windsurfing among professional athletes, according to the company.
As part of the sponsorship, Ryoma will visit the Maldives and participate in a special event, including a special session for Maldivian athletes and a children's event.

A three-time Red Bull Wind Rider Champion and Raalhugudi 2023 Champion, Hante’ represents Duotone kite surfing and wing foiling in the Maldives as Aqua Cube’s ambassador.
Known for traveling around the Maldives in a catamaran, Gabbe’ has won various titles in windsurfing. He is the ambassador of Aqua Cube for the North Sail and Duotone windsurfing boards.
Abdulla Shaafee is a skilled kite surfer and wakeboarder. He is the Deputy Director of Watersports and Diving at Jalboot Group. As Aqua Cube’s ambassador, he represents Connelly wakeboards and water skis as well as various water toys.
