MDP Vice President Shifaz has reiterated his statement that MDP will reinstate street protests calling to free former President Mohamed Nasheed.
He made the statement, speaking in the rally held Friday calling for Nasheed’s freedom.
The protestors stated that UN had decreed that Nasheed’s arrest was unjust and therefore must be released, or risk sanctions against the nation.
Maldivian Foreign Minister had said that UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon had assured that UN will not interfere in internal matters of the nation.
