The Maldives national bodybuilding team is competing in the 16th WBPF World Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championships, held in Batam, Indonesia from November 11to 17.
Five athletes are representing the Maldives across various physique categories:
Ahmed Naeem – Sports Physique Overall Champion at the recent national championship  
Azneen Rashad – Competing in the Sports Physique category  
Ali Mabrook Latheef – Athletic Physique Overall Champion  
Manaf Waheed  
Ismail Shuaau Abdullah
The categories include 170 cm and 175 cm Sports Physique, and 167 cm, 175 cm, and up to 180 cm Athletic Physique.
The team is led by Coach Abdul Haseeb Hussain and Manager Mohamed Nazeeh.
Preparations for the world championship follow the Mr Maldives and BBAM Classic Championships, held from November 4 to 9, where several team members earned top honors.
The WBPF World Championships is one of the most prestigious events in the bodybuilding calendar, drawing elite athletes from around the globe.
