Construction Minister Dr. Abdullah Muttalib is scheduled to appear at tomorrow’s Parliament sitting to answer questions submitted by two members.
Velidhoo MP Mohamed Abbas and South Galolhu MP Mickail Naseem have submitted questions for the Minister. MP Abbas seeks clarification on the delayed water and sewerage system project in N. Lhohi, asking when the remaining works will begin and when the system will become operational for the public.
Meanwhile, MP Mickail Naseem has raised concerns over the fire incident at the Housing Ministry, questioning whether any documents linked to the investigation into Housing Development Corporation’s alleged unlawful plot allocations under the Binveriya Scheme were destroyed.
Tomorrow’s Parliament session comes amid growing frustration among MPs, as sittings have been irregular in recent weeks, with only two sessions held.
