The President’s Office has opened applications for a soon-to-be vacant member position of the Elections Commission of the Maldives (ECM), as current Member Dr Mohamed Zahir’s tenure is coming to an end shortly.
Appointed to the position in 2021, Dr Zahir’s term will expire next February. He has previously fulfilled the position as Director of ECM and was also an assistant professor at the Maldives National University (MNU).
Application forms may be collected from the President’s Office on working days between 8.30 a.m. and 12.00 p.m. The deadline for the collection and submission of applications is 12.00 p.m. on 21 January.
Application forms will be available from the reception of the President’s Office and can also be downloaded from their website.
