Criminal Court has sentenced a former Bank of Maldives (BML) cashier to six months banishment for stealing money from a bank account.
Nadhaa Waheed, Ma. Aisha, was sentenced for treason on Monday. In its sentence, the Criminal Court said that Nadha had confessed to stealing over MVR 3000 from a customer’s bank account in 2009.
