Sheikh Mohamed Rasheed Ibrahim has stated that the biggest asset in the world was the Quran and that this fact cannot be debated.
He made the statement speaking in the Ihya forum held by the Ministry.
“Every ayah in the Quran is the direct word of God, delivered by the angel Jibreel to Prophet Mohamed,” he said.
Sheikh Rasheed said that the adherence to and recitation of Quran, study and teaching of Quran was full of benefits to the believer and that it was this fact that made Quran the most valuable asset in the world.
It has to be noted that the Quran is full of scientific facts that was compiled over 1400 years, when the scientific study was not possible. This has contributed to many scientists converting to Islam.
