The state presented witness said testifying against the former President Mohamed Nasheed that he stated the Criminal Court chief judge Abdulla Mohamed should be kept in isolation،
President Mohamed Nasheed has been pressed terrorism charges for allegedly detaining chief justice of Criminal Court Abdulla Mohamed in 2012.
The police officer stated during Wednesday night’s hearing at the Criminal Court that although President Nasheed said to keep judge Abdulla in isolation، he did not directly order to detain him.
He said Nasheed made the statement during a meeting with Police Officers on 18 January 2012.
The second witness testifying against Nasheed، a police officer، stated that he had heard Nasheed saying the Judge cannot come close within 100ft of the court.
However، the lawyers of Nasheed had raised the question whether the witness testimony are credible.
