Former President Mohamed Nasheed has stated that the opposition will not participate in the all party talks unless all political leaders in jail are released.
He made the statement in a tweet posted today.
In his tweet Nasheed said that the possibility of hold free and equal talks were not a possibility when political leaders were detained.
Nasheed also alleged that the case against MP Mahloof was an unjust one, based on unconstitutional terms. He said the trial was carried out by a corrupt court.
Nasheed said due to this verdict the public perception on the Courts will further erode and the public will trust the Courts even lesser.
