Duke of Cambridge issues appeal to FIFA urging to "put sports first"

The Duke of Cambridge، Prince Williams has urged the world football governing body، FIFA to “show that it can represent the interests of fair play and put the sport first”.
Prince Williams، president of FA، has made the statement during a speech delivered before the final cup at Wembley.
He had called out sponsors and other associated acts to use their influence with FIFA to support reform.
The comments have come during a time when Sepp Blatter has been re-elected for the second time as President of FIFA while seven high profile officials of the federation were arrested due to corruption cases.
The seven high-profile individuals، arrested in Zurich earlier this week are among the 14 indicted for charges of bribery، racketeering and money-laundering، with tens of millions of dollars since 1991.
