Deputy Minister at Finance Ministry Dr. Aishath Muneeza has said that she extremely satisfied that international parties are recognizing her work in promoting Islamic finance sector in the country.
She made the statement speaking to Miadhu after receiving “Research Fellow of Royal Institute of Research” from Singapore’s Royal Institute today. She was conferred the status at the Institutions’ 7th Global Congress and Conferment ceremony held this afternoon in Hotel Jen.
Dr. Muneeza said the status was an encouragement to proceed ahead in the sector, adding that she will make the best use of the acknowledgement.
Dr. Muneeza had also been recognized in India for her work carried out in Maldives to promote Islamic finance sector.
In addition to Dr. Muneeza, Dr. Mariyam Shakeel and Dr. Ali Shameem were also conferred “Research Fellow of Royal Institute of Research” status. The status is one of the most honored statuses accorded by the Institution.
