First National Finance Corporation appoints Mariyam Visam as Chief Commercial Officer

Mariyam Visam has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer of First National Finance Corporation.
The corporation's Board of Directors made the appointment on March 16.
As Chief Commercial Officer, Visam's responsibilities will be to lead the development and execution of commercial strategies that align with First National's business goals, overseeing product development, managing sales and marketing teams and building strategic partnerships.
Visam has over two decades of experience in corporate governance, business and financial regulations.
She previously served as Registrar of Companies. Visam was also earlier a Board Member of Capital Market Development Authority, as well as the Maldives Pension Administration Office. She has also served as an Executive Committee Member of the Corporate Registers Forum.
At present, Visam is the President of the Rotary Club of Male', as well as a governing board member of the Maldives International Financial Services Authority (MIFSA).
Visam holds a Master's degree in Business Economics from the University of Queensland, Australia and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management from the University of Northumbria, UK.
First National stated that they are committed to advancing financial services in the Maldives by providing investment advisory, wealth management, and securities trading services, empowering both businesses and individuals.
