Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) is the sole distributor of Castrol in the Maldives, the company has announced.
In a statement, MTCC said the company is the sole distributor of Castrol in the Maldives under an agreement between Castrol Singapore Pvt Ltd and MTCC. Therefore, no other party is allowed to import, sell, or market any Castrol product, and a party that does so would be in violation of the Consumer Protection Act’s Article 51 and 52.
MTCC further said no one should share misinformation about the import and sale of Castrol that could create confusion among customers. This is against the spirit of business, MTCC said.
MTCC warned it would condemn actions of any parties that may harm MTCC’s business in the strictest manner, and take the strictest legal action against such a party.
