Tree Top set to hold multi-specialty health camp in Kudahuvadhoo this weekend

Following the success of previous health camps across the atolls, the Tree Top Hospital (TTH) has announced its next multi-specialty health camp, this time in Dh. Kudahuvadhoo.
The health camp is set to take place from May 16-17 at the regional hospital in Kudahuvadhoo, offering valuable healthcare services directly to the community of Kudahuvadhoo and neighboring islands and resorts.
A dedicated team of eight experienced consultant doctors from TTH will be available to provide consultations in a range of specialties. They are:
Dr. Zakia Ahmed - Consultant in Gynecology and Obstetrics
Dr. Ali Muzni – Consultant Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery
Dr. Magnus Olof Odqvist – Consultant Orthopedics
Dr. Chandrashekhar Rawal - Consultant ENT
Dr. Mehmet Oder – Consultant Urology
Dr. Anu Agrawal – Consultant Dermatology
Dr. Archana Sharma – Consultant Ophthalmology
Dr. Uktam Abdullaev – Consultant General Surgeon
The health camp in Kudahuvadhoo marks the first such initiative by TTH this year, building upon the positive impact of camps held in GA. Villingili, GDh. Thinadhoo, and L. Gan in the previous year, which benefited over 1,500 individuals.
In addition to offering free doctor's appointments to the public, the program will also include a training session for the nurses of Dh. Atoll Hospital and an informative session on gynecology and fertility led by Zakia.
TTH expressed appreciation to Dh. Atoll Hospital, the Kudahuvadhoo Council, the Dh. Atoll Council, and the Kudahuvadhoo Women's Development Committee for their crucial support in organizing the event.
The hospital also thanked Manta Air for their collaboration as the official travel partner, facilitating the transportation of the medical team.
TTH said its health camps are a vital part of the hospital's social responsibility program, aimed at ensuring access to high-quality healthcare for people across the Maldives and enhancing the capabilities of local healthcare professionals.
Dr. Srivatsan Sridhar G, CEO of TTH, said the hospital believes it is essential to bring their specialized medical services directly to communities throughout the Maldives.
“This health camp in Kudahuvadhoo is a testament to that commitment, and we hope it will provide significant benefit to the residents,” he said.
The hospital urged the public in Kudahuvadhoo and neighboring islands to take advantage of the opportunity.
Registration for appointments can be done by calling the Dh. Atoll Hospital at 6760087.
