Bank of Maldives (BML), in collaboration with global card services provider American Express (AMEX), has launched a new campaign to promote Maldivian tourism among AMEX Cardmembers.
The initiative was officially inaugurated on Saturday evening at Barcelo Nasandhura Male' by Minister of Finance Moosa Zameer, BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef.
Titled 'Experience Maldives', the campaign, now in its fourth edition, coincides with World Tourism Day and aims to spotlight the Maldives as a premier luxury travel destination.

Endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism, Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI), Visit Maldives Corporation, and the National Boating Association of Maldives, the two-year campaign offers exclusive benefits to AMEX Cardmembers. These include special offers from resorts, liveaboards, and merchants, covering spa treatments, beach dining, water activities, floating breakfasts, and room upgrades.
Speaking at the event, Shareef noted that the campaign will enable AMEX Cardmembers to explore the Maldives’ natural beauty and cultural richness through curated experiences. “This campaign will further strengthen Maldives’ position as one of the world’s leading destinations for luxury tourism,” he said.

AMEX Vice President and General Manager for GNS Bank Partnerships in Asia and South Pacific Growth Markets, Divya Jain echoed the sentiment, highlighting the Maldives’ global appeal and the campaign’s role in delivering unique, high-value experiences to AMEX customers.
According to BML, previous editions of Experience Maldives, launched in 2017, 2019, and 2023, have offered premium services, exclusive rates, and complimentary experiences designed to enhance the travel journey for AMEX Cardmembers.
