The Bank of Maldives (BML) – national bank of the island nation – confirms their branches will be closed during the New Year’s.
According to BML, all of their branches will remain closed from Tuesday of the upcoming week, 31 December 2019, for a five-day period.
However, the basic ATM services as well as their internet and mobile banking services will be available.
Moreover, customers will be able to lodge complains or even get directed to customer care via Facebook or Twitter during the period.
BML confirms their services in full capacity will resume, with branches opening up for operations, on 05 January 2020.
For the period the bank’s branches are confirmed to remain closed, BML has advised its customer base to stay updated with the news.
