President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Mohamed Tholal as the Commissioner of Sports.
The appointment was made at the ministerial level.
Tholal is the President of the Athletics Association of Maldives and Vice President of the Maldives Olympic Committee. However, Tholal has resigned as the President of the Athletics Association after being appointed Commissioner of Sports.
