Home Minister Mr. Umar Naseer has resigned from his post as Home Minister.
In a tweet tonight Minister said he has decided to resign from his post today. Also he has thanked President Yaameen Abdul Gayoom and all others who has supported him on his duties.
Senior Official from President’s Office has confirmed that President has accepted Home Minister’s resignation.
Either side has not revealed any reason for Home Minister’s resignation.
