World’s highest and longest glass-bottom bridge to open in China

The world’s highest and longest glass-bottom bridge، the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon bridge will get its opening on June 2015.
The glass-bottom bridge، at China’s Hunan Province will have 430 meters in its length while it will have 300 meters in the width of the bridge.
Last year a similar glass bottom bridge was opened in America as well، however this bridge in comparison to China’s Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon، is only 21 meters long، while it rests at 300 meters above ground.
Israeli architect، Haim Dotam is the man behind the glass-bottom bridge concept، he had been the pioneer of the Expo 2010 Shanghai’s Israel Pavilion.
The Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie skywalk will offer the world’s highest bungee jumping location، stealing the title from the Macau Tower’s 233-meter attraction.
China’s Zhangjiajie park has been opened for tourist visiting since 2009 and is believed to be the inspiration for the beautiful planet of Pandora، in James Cameron’s 2009 “Avatar” film.
