Famous Scolar Sheikh Ali Zahir Bin Saeed Qasim have said that people who say that religious axioms should be rethought have deficiencies in their faith.
Speaking to the students during a workshop that was held yesterday at the Islamic Center, the sheikh said that out faith should be strong and religious axioms should not be questioned.
Sheikh Ali Zahir said that faith is what a person believes wholeheartedly about the religion and that faith is derived from the Quran, the Sunnah and the consensus of the scholars. He said that there is no other way derive faith. In addition, he said that Muslims should be always faithful, but still should always talk about strengthening the faith because it is of utmost importance.
He said that parents always encourage students who are really good at studies to study more and harder. Parents advice like this not because the students do not study, but because it is important to study hard. In addition, he said that Muslims attend prayers because they are on the straight path yet, in every prayer Muslim’s pray for the right path. He said that, this is because being on the right path is important. Sheikh Ali Zahir said that we also ask us to be among those who are the most beloved and not among those who face the wrath of Allah.
In addition to this, Sheikh Ali Zahir gave various valuable advices to the students during the workshop.
