Bank of Maldives has introduced dynamic currency conversion service. This will allow foreigners to use their own currency when using their bank cards in Maldives. The service was officially launched in a ceremony held at Meeru Island Resort today.
This service was introduced as part of the Banks’s program to expand the services provided to businesses. This will allow tourists to pay in their own currency instead of paying in dollars. Also, they will be able to know how much they are spending in their own currency immediately after they pay for a service.
The bank will provide the charges to the businesses in the previously agreed currency. This service will be available for transactions made through Master and Visa card.
